Acne
Acne started out as an advertising agency with broad ambitions. In the late 90ties they created the Acne Action Jeans, know for its red stitching. Soon they expanded their fashion output and got a reputation for making clean jeans, without stitched back pockets, as well as their subtle use of logo. From that point on there was no looking back. Today Acne is a fully fledged fashion house as well as a powerhouse in Scandinavian fashion. They are classic with an experimental edge and their collections keeps getting stronger and more advanced. The Acne shoe-line is amazing and also a testament to how thorough Acne is.

Born in the mind of the artist and brought to life in the Colaboratory. The Colab range of eyewear brings a selection of individual designers and artists together. Each artist creates a range whereby their design aesthetic is transposed into a collective, accessible to their followers. Colab facilitates the artists own design into production. There is no constraint, no rules to follow, no target market to appease. We leave the design to the designers and then turn their vision into something tangible. Styles are limited to 1000 pairs worldwide.

Fannie Schiavoni
Born in Sweden, Fannie Schiavoni moved to London when she was 18 to study tailoring. She later progressed to the BA Fashion Design Technology course at London College of Fashion and did a number of internships alongside her studies for designers such as Hussein Chalayan, Giles Deacon and Julien Macdonald. Specialising in womenswear, Fannie also designed accessories to be part of her final year collection. Her background in tailoring created a passion for handcraft and attention to detail. This is reflected in her accessories pieces, which are all designed and hand crafted, ring by ring, by Fannie in her studio in London. The versatility of the pieces, as they can be layered and worn in different ways, allows multiple looks from a single item. The raw and distinctive shape of the chains can make any outfit stand out. She works with muted colours to keep the focus on the shape and design of her pieces. She’s drawn to androgyny, strong clean lines and geometric forms.

It has been wildly popular due to its focus on quality denim, vintage and an interesting mix of affordable designer labels. The Flying A collections draws on the heritage of the shop. Folk was born in 2001 when Cathal McAteer was given the opportunity to achieve his aspiration of creating a menswear collection that his friends would like to wear. The collections are not trend led but are defined by a handcrafted aesthetic that creates simple staple favourites with subtle, fun and quirky detailing that allows their owner to make a statement without having to shout too loudly about it.

Julian Red is usually one step ahead. It's a conceptual label and unlike many other labels its sources of reference are clearly visible in the garments. Every season moves in a distinct direction inspired by a specific piece of artwork. Despite of this, Julian Red is recognizable through a not always tangible red string. It might be the great job they are doing each season with finding outstanding fabrics and colors.

Kokon to Zai
Kokon To Zai was founded by Sasha Bezovski and the designer Marjan Pejoski. Starting up as a shop in London's Soho, KTZ gave young and gifted designers an opportunity to sell their collections. Talents such as Raf Simons and Bernhard Willhelm were among those who used the opportunity. Kokon To Zai offers avant garde fashion and street couture, and their in-house label follows the same ideology. Marjan Pejoski is the creative director (as well as managing his own brand “Marjan Pejoski”), each season KTZ collaborates with interesting talent. The results are creative fireworks, explosions of color, unthinkable shapes and exciting graphics. KTZ is never boring.

Odeur is a fresh breeze coming out of Sweden, it is characterised by playful silhouettes, minimal prints, as well as light and soft qualities. Odeur is a clean and edgy look for both men and women. The collections are getting bigger by the season and demand is growing fast!

Personae is a new Norwegian magazine with top of the line contributors. (Written in Norwegian) Why is there an abundance of reflected articles on architecture, art, film and literature, but hardly any on clothing? Shouldn't clothing be treated properly inside the framework of a cultural magazine? This is the starting point for the establishment of Personae.

In 2008, POP cph launched a clothing line for men & women. The label is closely connected to the Copenhagen club scene, music and parties are fundamental POP cph elements and this is also reflected in clothing line. Often inspired by classic dinner wear, the collections always feature a take on the little black dress and the traditional smoking suit. The styles is timelessly classic & simple, ranging from dressy & party to daily basics, while the qualities & details evoke a discreet luxury feel.

Rickard Lindqvist
Rickard Lindqvist makes wonderfully constructed clothes. He's a favourite among many designers due to his high tailoring skills and intricate pattern designs. Some collections has had pieces put together with one continues seam! Rickard Lindqvist combines classic tailoring with avant-garde thus making a lot of the styles stand out like pieces of art. An investment is recommended!

Shofolk
Folk is a casual menswear brand born in 2001 in London, Shofolk the footwear collection followed in 2004. Shofolk shoes have a natural and honest look. The detailing is sometimes playful but it does not distract from the fact that you are looking at high-end craftsmanship, an investment that will last for a long time. Shofolk is made in a small family owned factory in the heart of shoe making country in North Portugal. They have 60 years experience in hand crafting shoes and this skill combined with leathers imported from Italy brings our designs to life.

Freudian Kicks fell in love with Soulland after seeing the SS09 collection “Steal”. Soulland designer Silas Adler has shaped another strong street fashion label coming out of Denmark, with a distinct feeling of Copenhagen. The shapes are just right, fitted but not too tight. Soulland combines urban and rural themes to create a unique look for the streets.

Stine Goya
Stine Goya started out as a model for big international designers, then she became one of Denmark most sought after stylists, the natural progress from this point was to start her own label. She's educated from Central Saint Martins design school in London, where her specialtiy was print, at the same time she was working with prominent designers such as Eley Kishimoto and Hussein Chalayan. Since it's launch in 2007, the self titled label has had a signature style. She loves working with colours, patterns and is a master of making them work the right way. The cut ranges from classic to skewed, the proportions are fresh and challenging.

London fashion label Unconditional is now 6 years old - designed by Philip Stephens, it started as a capsule of luxury lifestyle menswear pieces for the Concrete Shop in London. The women's collection came 2 years later. Unconditional has established its own feeling of a modern elegance with a good dash of rock'n'roll- pieces that are uncompromising in their attention to detail and high quality fabrications, always favouring pure, natural, ethically produced fabrics and yarns. Freudian Kicks has order a wider selection of Unconditional for SS10, for the first time we will also introduce the women's collection. For the time being we have the incredible comfortable carrot shaped trousers below.

Uniforms for the dedicated
Uniforms for the Dedicated have already managed to establish a recognizable and distinctive style, which is quite impressive for such a young label. They are studded with talent in many departments and music is an integral part of the label. In 2008 the Swedish Fashion Council named them «Rookie of the Year», but the best part is that they keep getting better. Uniforms for the Dedicated makes use of strong colours and interesting seam work, the style is playful but it keeps its balance. For 2009, Swedish Magazine “Cafe”named them: “Newcomer of the year”.

Wood Wood started out making all-over prints on hoodies and tees, often repetative patterns with characteristical soft graphical shapes. Then they moved on and their collections became more clean and a whole lot bigger. In not so many years, Wood Wood have developed to become a household name in street fashion, doing co-labs with major companies as Adidas, Nike and Penfield. Their influcence on the Scandinavian street scene should not be understated.
