Based in Scandinavia and herald nature, simplicity and functionality. Influenced by the beauty of the natural surroundings, Their passion is for great product, functional design and creative output.
Norse Projects designs and develops seasonal collections of functionally oriented mens and womenswear inspired by a modern lifestyle.
Since its very first collection in 2009, Danish brand Norse Projects has only grown stronger and stronger. So, having secured its position as one of the best menswear brands in the world right now, it only makes sense for the brand to expand into womenswear, which is exactly what it's done for Autumn/Winter 2015.The debut womenswear collection stays true to Norse Projects' sensibilities, exploring the "space between the world of the art and function through a modernist inspired aesthetic." As you can see from the lookbook, which was shot by Justin Chung and styled by Stephen Mann, androgyny is key to the collections story, with classic military and workwear pieces reinterpreted for the modern woman. Colours span from a neutral palette of grey, deep black, dark blues and white solids contrasted with accents of powder blue, rose, yellow and monochromatic hues in prints.

And then there is Otranto. A small medieval Italian town, clinging precariously to a cliff in the south in Puglia. The countryside is mountainous and fresh. The coast lined with beaches, the water crystal clear. It’s the classic Italian town, with cafés and ice cream bars and restaurants, you know the sort. Elegant in a lived- in, comfortable kind of way with everyday life just going on around you. People going about their businesses, being together. We like that. There’s a village just south of town, in a small bay. Take the village road and the restaurant is easy to find, right above the beach. Whitewashed with fluorescent lights and a plastic roof. Paper plates with fried squid, sea urchins, tiny sardines and anchovies caught fresh by local fishermen. A crisp white wine to wash it down with. Simple, elegant and delicious.
So what does Otranto have to do with shoes? Everything. This is where Maj-La and Jonas spent a leisurely month with families and friends, a few years ago. Walking through town they found a small studio making sandals. Everyone got a pair and wore little else for the rest of the summer. And that’s what sparked the idea of ATP ATELIER.
First of all, the shoes are made in Italy by local craftsmen, who work under circumstances and for wages that we can vouch for. It allows to establish long-term relations to the people involved, ensuring a sustainable business in the long run.
ATP use a vegetable dye for our leather instead of conventional dyes with chrome, to minimize the environmental impact.
Products of a lasting quality in design, material and craftsmanship for the customer who appreciates slow fashion.

WHAT INSPIRE THE LOVECHILD 1979 COLLECTIONS?
They are inspired by beautiful details and emotions rather than concrete storytelling. Every collection has a certain feeling attached to it. Lovechild 1979s focus isn’t breaking headlines with headline stealing tricks and catwalk extravaganzas –rather the ambition is to create enchanting women’s wear, inspired by strong women for strong women. Lovechild 1979 are inspired by the feminine, yet this feminine centre-point should not be mistaken for a girlie infatuation. At the heart of every lovechild piece lies a true understanding of the feminine, but it’s much more complex than the adolescent.
WHAT LOVECHILD 1979 WISH TO CREATE?
The aesthetic is effortless, but rich. That’s the brands interpretation of the modern women’s needs. The brand want to create clothes that make you feel great. For them it’s important to centre the design process around the women who inspire and those we dream of dressing. The team behind lovechild 1979 is 100% female and they believe that channel this strong sisterhood into the clothing they create. Designing interesting clothing for the modern women means thinking femininity beyond dresses. Pants, suiting and shirts can be just as feminine, but in an independent cotemporary.
